VIRTUAL TOURS OF THE NGV
The National Gallery of Victoria in Australia is opening up for virtual tours!
The closure of museums, galleries, and venues across the globe has led to a surprising benefit. It’s no reason to jump and shout for joy of course, considering the trying circumstances that we are all facing, but due to the closure of the National Gallery of Victoria, people from all around the world will find themselves fortunate enough to view the NGV’s newly-launched virtual programming. This includes the unprecedented and world premiere exhibition Crossing Lines, showcasing the works of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. (Featured image: @ngvmelbourne)
Arguably two of the most influential and significant artists of the late 20th century, the exclusive exhibition has focused on the unique visual languages—the use of signs, symbols and words to convey strong social and political messages in unconventional ways—of the two artists while revealing, for the first time, the many intersections between their lives, practices and ideas.

The National Theatre is going to stream a free play every Thursday night

The initial programme is:
April 2 ‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ by Richard Bean, starring James Corden.
April 9 ‘Jane Eyre’, adapted by Sally Cookson.
April 16 ‘Treasure Island’, adapted by Bryony Lavery.
April 23 ‘Twelfth Night’ by William Shakespeare, starring Tamsin Greig.
Additionally, the National Theatre will be rolling out National Theatre Collection study resources to pupils now learning at home.
The NT has also confirmed that live performances won’t restart until at least July.
